Bernhard in Poland

Beitrag von Alkali » 30.11.2005 13:50

Hi All,

Informations delivered by SES mobilized me to writing about Bernhard in Poland. Surely all you know, that in my country was their only two – Be-11 and Be-15.
Today already little remained from these of great devices. In nearest futures will remain yet less.

Be-11

Is found somewhat less than 3 kilometres on SW from Trzebnica (Trebnitz), on top of climb about height 245,7 m. Behaved oneself only concrete - circle. In centre of circle are only remainders of construction, In vicinity does not have nothing else, all already very long ago became destroyed. I sought but I did not find of already no traces after barracks or other buildings
Behind several of months will disappear also concrete - circle. All hill is on private ground, In place where is circle owners will build house. According to plans circle will be transformed on pond :!:

Be-15

Is found somewhat less than 2 kilometres on SW from Szymbark (Schonberg), on top of mountain called by local Szwedzka Góra (Swedish Mountain / Schweden Berg) – height 303,5 m.
I do not know why in documents is qualification Butow :?: To cities Bytow is from this places enough far :!: :!:
From many years top of mountain occupies telecommunication firm which in centre concrete - circle built high tower with transmitters. Before beginning of construction ground became cleared from remainders. Behaved oneself only circle, two concrete - socle and remainders little barrack. All ground is enclosed and equipped in electronic alarm – system, entering without permission one can have large troubles :megawut:

Hi Alkali,

fantastic pictures with a lot of information. Thanks a lot for sharing.

The best one is the on e you did from the antenna down to the ground - seems that you have good connections.

Regards,
Torsten

He was only allowed to climb upon the first technical stage - abt. 5 meters above the ground. But whilst rest of us were talking to the guy who was responsible for the tower, thus distracting his attention from Alkali, he climbed higher and higher and higher... The guy is really crazy :)

Hi,
Don't you think you should take up mountaineering, I remember a certain individual who climbed a tree to get a good shot of a Freya LZ foundation :)
